Understanding polished diamonds is also fundamental to grading rough. To accurately value a rough diamond, you need to estimate the weight, colour, clarity, and potential polished yield. These factors enable you to make informed buying decisions and confidently determine what a rough diamond is worth.
Our Rough Diamond Grading Course combines online learning with a one-day practical workshop at our college in Cape Town, where you’ll gain valuable hands-on experience under expert guidance.
